Certificate of coverageIssued independently

Your car is worthwhat we putin writing.

We are an independent agency for classic, collector and enthusiast vehicles. You and your carrier settle on the value up front, it is written into the policy, and that is the number a total loss pays. No depreciation table. No adjuster's opinion on what your car became.

Endorsement

Classic Auto Insurance Group is the collector-vehicle desk of a working insurance agency — not a lead form with a car photo on it.

  • Independent by design

We are not tied to one underwriter. We take your car to specialty carriers and come back with the fit and the price that actually suit it.

  • Decades of insurance experience

Operational backing from our parent partner, Stonebrook Insurance Group — the same people our clients have trusted with their everyday policies for years.

  • Hundreds of five-star reviews

Earned by the Stonebrook team, one honest conversation at a time. Read a few of them further down this file.

What we
put on paper

Six classes of vehicle, one approach: we look at the car, the storage, and how you actually use it — then we write the value into the policy. If your car sits between two of these categories, that is a conversation, not a rejection.

Ask about your car
  • Classic

Largely original postwar cars — driven on weekends, shown on Sundays, and never treated as transportation.

    EligibilityTypically 20 years and older
  • Antique

Pre-war and early postwar machinery, often club-toured, usually with original brightwork worth protecting.

    EligibilityGenerally 45 years and older
  • Muscle & Hot Rods

Numbers-matching big blocks, restomods and street rods. Valued on the build and the receipts behind it.

    EligibilityDocumented builds welcome
  • Vintage Luxury

Postwar European and American luxury — Continentals, Silver Clouds, long-deck coupes with formal rooflines.

    EligibilityAppraisal usually required
  • Exotic

Limited-production supercars kept in climate control and driven with intent rather than commuted in.

    EligibilityStorage & mileage terms available
  • Replica & Kit

Faithful recreations and component cars, rated on the quality of the build rather than the year on the VIN.

Clause 03 — Valuation

Settle the number
before anything
happens to the car.

An ordinary auto policy pays actual cash value: what the car was worth the instant before the loss, minus depreciation. That arithmetic was written for commuter cars that lose value every year. Yours does not work that way.

  1. You and the carrier settle on a value.

An appraisal, a documented sale, or a market comparison we build with you. Nothing is guessed at, and nothing is decided later.

  2. That figure is written into the policy.

It sits on the declarations page in plain numbers — not inside a formula that only gets applied once something has gone wrong.

  3. A total loss pays that figure.

No depreciation schedule. No mileage penalty. No argument about what the car supposedly became while it sat in your garage.

Clause 04 — Placement

We work forthe car, notthe carrier.

Independent means we are on your side of the table. An agency owned by a carrier has exactly one product to sell you. We have a shortlist, and we go through it with your car's paperwork in front of us.

  1. Not tied to one underwriter

We place with specialty collector-vehicle carriers and choose on what the car needs — not on who we owe volume to this quarter.

  2. Re-shopped at renewal

Values move and carriers change appetite. We look at the market again rather than letting a policy quietly auto-renew into a worse deal.

  3. Terms written for how you drive it

Club events, weekend roads, cross-country tours, or strictly in and out of the garage. Mileage and usage language is set to match.

  4. A claim you do not have to explain twice

We stay on the file. When a marque specialist, an appraiser or a six-month parts lead time is involved, nobody has to be convinced it is normal.
