Before you geta quote, here's whatwe'll ask.
Agreed value coverage isn't available for every car or every driver. Here's what carriers actually look at — so you know before you start.
How the car is used
Pleasure use — shows, club events, weekend drives. Not a daily commuter, and not the only vehicle in the household.
How it's stored
A garage or other enclosed, secure storage. Carriers ask, because it affects both risk and value.
Its condition
Original, restored, or a documented build — running and roadworthy, without major unfinished work.
Your driving record
A reasonably clean record. This is one factor among several, not a hard line on its own.
If your car fits one of these, you're likely in good shape to move forward. If it doesn't fit neatly, that's still worth a conversation.
- My car is my only vehicle. Can it still qualify?
- It's harder, but not automatically disqualifying — talk to us about how you actually use it. Some carriers are more flexible on this than others, which is part of why we place across multiple.
- Does the car need to be a specific age to qualify?
- Most carriers look for something in the neighborhood of 20 years and older, but the more important factors are use and condition. A newer enthusiast car can sometimes qualify too — ask us.
- What if I'm not sure which category my car falls into?
- That's a conversation, not a form field. Tell us about the car and we'll tell you which class and which carriers make sense.
Tell us aboutthe car.
A few details about the vehicle and how you keep it is usually enough for us to tell you where you stand.
