Schedule I — Vehicle Class

Muscle Cars & Hot Rods

Numbers-matching big blocks, restomods and street rods. Valued on the build and the receipts behind it, not just the year and trim on the title.

EligibilityDocumented builds welcome

This class covers the cars built to be driven with intent — numbers-matching big blocks, documented restomods, and street rods built from the ground up. Underwriting here is less about matching the factory sheet and more about matching the value to the work.

A build sheet, receipts, or clear photos of the drivetrain and bodywork do the heavy lifting. The more we know about what’s actually under the hood, the closer the agreed value lands to what the car is really worth.

Makes & models we see in this class

Ford Mustang

The car that defined the pony-car era. First-generation Mustangs remain some of the most insured classics on the road, with values that vary sharply by trim and drivetrain.

Chevrolet Camaro

First-generation Camaros pair naturally with the Firebird as a direct GM rival to the Mustang — a deep well of trims, engines and documented builds.

Chevrolet Chevelle

The Chevelle SS is a cornerstone of the muscle era, and values track big-block documentation and build quality closely.

Chevrolet Nova

A compact platform that ranges from an honest daily classic to a documented SS big-block build — the spread in value is as wide as the spread in trims.

Pontiac GTO

Widely credited as the car that started the muscle-car era. GTO values lean heavily on engine and trim verification.

Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

The Trans Am pairs naturally with the Camaro as GM's other pony car, with a devoted following around its later big-screaming-chicken era as much as its earlier builds.

Questions on this class
Does a modified engine or drivetrain disqualify the car?
No — documented performance builds are common in this class. We ask for a parts and build list so the agreed value reflects the work that's actually in the car.
What if I don't have every receipt?
A build sheet, shop invoices, or good photos of the work go a long way. We'll tell you what a given carrier needs before you have to track down a decade of paperwork.
Other vehicle classes

Antique Vehicles

Pre-war and early postwar machinery, often club-toured, usually with original brightwork worth protecting. The oldest cars we insure need the most careful handling — on the road and on paper.

Vintage & Luxury Classics

Postwar European and American luxury — Continentals, Silver Clouds, long-deck coupes with formal rooflines. Cars built to be maintained, not just driven.

Custom & Modified Vehicles

Resto-mods and non-stock builds — a car built to a vision rather than a factory sheet. Underwriting here is about the build quality, not matching a stock spec.
