Schedule I — Vehicle Class

Modern Sports & Performance Cars

The future classics — enthusiast-driven performance cars that don't fit a standard policy yet, but don't belong on one either.

EligibilityEnthusiast use, limited mileage

Not every car worth protecting on these terms is old. A modern performance car driven for the enjoyment of it — tracked occasionally, kept in good company, put away for the winter — has more in common with a collector car than a commuter sedan, even if it rolled off the line last decade.

This category exists for exactly that gap: cars that have outgrown standard auto insurance’s assumptions but haven’t yet reached traditional classic-car territory.

Questions on this class
My car isn't old enough to be a "classic" — can it still qualify?
Often, yes. This category exists specifically for newer performance and enthusiast vehicles that a standard auto policy doesn't fit well, even before they're old enough for a traditional classic-car policy.
Does modifying the car affect eligibility?
Documented performance modifications are common in this class — tell us what's been done and we'll factor it into the valuation.
Other vehicle classes

Muscle Cars & Hot Rods

Numbers-matching big blocks, restomods and street rods. Valued on the build and the receipts behind it, not just the year and trim on the title.

Antique Vehicles

Pre-war and early postwar machinery, often club-toured, usually with original brightwork worth protecting. The oldest cars we insure need the most careful handling — on the road and on paper.

Vintage & Luxury Classics

Postwar European and American luxury — Continentals, Silver Clouds, long-deck coupes with formal rooflines. Cars built to be maintained, not just driven.
